We have experienced in discussions with school staff and students themselves following our sessions that many, and in fact the majority, have bolstered their decision to not enter use and for those in the space have commenced opening up and talking about their challenges rather than using a substance, self-medicating, to “mask” or “numb” an issue in their lives.
