“#NotEvenOnce® Schools Film Competition – we’ve been invited to take part!

The #NotEvenOnce® Schools Film Competition is happening! The competition is for students that have seen a #NotEvenOnce® Alcohol and Drug seminar and they are asked to create 1 - 5 minute films to help reach their peers and community with the important #NotEvenOnce message to turn their peers from the destructive path of Alcohol and Drug abuse. As we have seen the impact #NotEvenOnce® has had with our students, we’d really love our students to take part and become a very real part of this movement to protect future health and potential of our young people.  There are 16 prize levels including a Peoples Choice Award, where the public get to vote on their favourite film.  A massive prize pool is available (over $45,000) and the finalist films will be screened and winner announced at an awards ceremony in December. We are very excited to announce that our school is taking part in the 2018 #NotEvenOnce® Schools Film Festival where students are creating 5-minute films to reach their peers with the important #NotEvenOnce message to turn young people away from the destructive use of Alcohol and Drugs. With the support of teachers, our students have been very busy scripting, creating and producing films with the hope of gaining one of the 16 different prizes available including a Peoples Choice Award.  The huge prize pool of $45,000 is on offer to schools and the finalist films will be screened and the winner announced at an awards ceremony in December.
